As June begins, Immersiv Health is celebrating two years since the company was founded and reflecting on a challenge providers know all too well: getting patients started on biologic therapies and specialty treatments is often far more complicated than it should be.

A provider can make the diagnosis and prescribe the therapy, but unfortunately the path to treatment is often riddled with hurdles. There’s obtaining prior authorization under ever-changing payor requirements, step edits, fighting denials, financial and scheduling challenges all creating barriers to treatment. For provider teams, this means more administrative work, more disjointed follow-up, and less time with their actual patients. For patients, this means more uncertainty, delays, and frustration.

That challenge is exactly why Immersiv Health was created.

After forming the company in May 2024, the first several months were dedicated to building the sustainable foundation: identifying where care was needed, developing efficient processes and creating a model designed to support both patients and referring providers throughout the treatment journey.

The goal was not simply to build infusion clinics. It was to create a trusted outpatient partner that would help navigate the path to treatment and a better quality of life for patients and their providers.

Two years later, Immersiv Health has grown to nine clinic locations across Colorado and Texas, supports more than 50 biologic therapies and specialty-administered treatments and continues to expand access to care for patients living with chronic and complex conditions.

Built to support providers after the referral is sent

For referring providers, choosing where to send a patient is a trust decision.

The right outpatient partner needs to understand the therapy, communicate clearly, support payer coordination and help patients move from order to treatment without unnecessary delays.

Immersiv Health was built with that reality in mind.

The team provides benefits verification, prior authorization, payer coordination and appeals, financial assistance support, scheduling and ongoing care coordination so provider teams are not left carrying the burden. That support is especially important for patients battling chronic illness and disease across specialties like neurology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, allergy and immunology, pulmonology, nephrology, cardiology and others.

“Providers are entrusting us with the care of their patients, and we don’t take that lightly,” said Matt Havens, COO of Immersiv Health. “We started Immersiv to be an advocate for the patient and an extension of the provider. Our job is to positively impact the lives of those we serve, so we’ve built a system that allows us to do that by being a true partner to everyone involved.”

A better experience for patients receiving ongoing care

Patients receiving biologic therapies and specialty treatments are often managing chronic or complex conditions that already affect their daily lives. The treatment experience should not make that harder.

Immersiv Health clinics are designed to offer care in a comfortable and convenient outpatient setting with private rooms, professional monitoring and a team focused on communication, consistency and support.

For patients, that can mean fewer unknowns and a more pleasant experience.

For providers, it means greater confidence that patients are being supported after the referral leaves the office.

“From the beginning, we wanted Immersiv Health to solve a practical problem in the care process,” said Son Hee Han, CEO of Immersiv Health. “Patients need support beyond the prescription, and providers need a partner they can trust well after the referral is sent. That is the experience we set out to build.”

Why this model matters now

The need for outpatient access to biologic therapies and specialty treatments continues to grow.

More patients are living with chronic and complex conditions. More specialty therapies are being developed and becoming available. More provider teams need dependable partners who can help patients move from order to treatment without adding more burden to their staff.

At the same time, patients, providers and payers are looking for quality care options outside of traditional hospital settings to lower the cost on patients, and the healthcare system overall.

Immersiv Health’s growth reflects that need. In two years, the company has expanded from an idea into nine clinic locations across Colorado and Texas, with a model focused on provider communication, patient access and a better outpatient treatment experience.

That is what reimagining the infusion experience means to Immersiv Health. It is not only about the appointment itself. It is about the full path to care, from referral to treatment and every step that follows.

Two years in and just getting started

Celebrating two years gives Immersiv Health a chance to thank the providers who continue to trust the team with their patients, the communities that have welcomed its clinics and the employees who live their values every day.

It is also a reminder that this work continues.

There are still patients who need easier access to care. There are still provider teams looking for reliable partners. There are still communities that need more site of care options for biologic therapies, specialty treatments and infusion services focused on the patient.

Two years in, Immersiv Health is proud of what has been built, while excited and focused on what comes next.
